Located in the state of Rio de Janeiro, the so-called “Costa Verde” covers the municipalities of Angra dos Reis, Mangaratiba, Paraty and Itaguaí.
On one side, a mountain range – the Serra do Mar – covered by the vegetation of the Atlantic Forest, and on the other side, the ocean.
The region has a total area of 1,424,571 km², with more than 340 thousand inhabitants. The touristic appeal is very strong, attracting travelers from the four corners of the world, at various times of the year and with different purposes. That’s right! The region does not only have beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters: there are trails, waterfalls, historical and cultural monuments capable of supplying the agenda of the most avid tourist.
